About Gary's Gift
Who was Gary Wellner & What does Gary's Gift do?
Garys' Gift to TakeDown to Pancreatic Cancer is an army of passionate volunteers with various ties to Gary Wellner.
Gary's Gift exists to promote Gary's vision of raising funds to TakeDown pancreatic cancer through research at The University of Minnesota.
We are the ONLY Minnesota based charity for pancreatic cancer research, and all of the money Gary's Gift raises stays local.
Gary was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June of 2009. He was one of the 10%, who qualified for the Whipple Surgery.
A long-time wrestling coach & wrestling enthusiast, Gary battled this dreadful disease with the fierce heart of a true warrior - a wrestler.
Sadly, we lost Gary on December 24, 2014. We follow after Gary to carry out his passionate vision to TakeDown Pancreatic Cancer!
